Greetings, outdoor communicators! Thank you for agreeing to visit Central Missouri’s Lake of the Ozarks - “The Best Recreational Lake in the Nation” - on an outdoor-themed group press trip from Tuesday afternoon, May 24 through Thursday morning, May 26.
The Lake of the Ozarks is home to one of the finest bass fisheries in the country and has been named by BoatUS as one of the best fresh-water lakes for boating. The Lake of the Ozarks features 1,150 miles of shoreline (more than the entire Pacific Coast of California) and is home to two outstanding state parks (Lake of the Ozarks State Park and Ha Ha Tonka State Park), four show caves (Bridal Cave, Jacob’s Cave, Ozark Caverns, and Stark Caverns) and numerous other outdoor highlights that bring millions of visitors to the Lake every year.
Please plan to arrive at Point Randall Resort, 1584 Susan Road, Lake Ozark, 65049 at 12 noon on Tuesday, May 24 to begin your Lake adventure.
